There are 21 varsity sports at Cibola High School for students to choose among other extracurricular offerings.

Students can choose from 13 CTE courses at Cibola High.

More than 50 students from Yuma Union High School District Career and Technical Student Organizations advanced to national competitions following their success at the state level.

Yuma Union High School District, in partnership with Yuma Regional Medical Center (YRMC) will be hosting a no-cost sports physical event on April 26, 2024 at Cibola High School.

San Luis High School will host a “Jazz Night” concert on March 26, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in the San Luis High School Performing Arts Center.
The event will include performances from Cibola High School, Gila Ridge High School, and San Luis High School.

District and school offices will be closed from Friday, March 29 through Friday, April 5, 2024 in observance of good friday and spring break.

YUHSD will administer the Arizona Statewide Achievement Assessment for Science (AzSCI) Exam on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 for 11th Grade (Class of 2025 cohort) students.

Cibola High School's Vocational Culinary Arts program showcased its talent and skills at the FCCLA Regional Culinary Arts Competition held on February 13-14, 2024. The event included Gila Ridge and Yuma High as well.
